JOB SUMMARY
Keep machines operating and keep the flow of materials through departments. Follows production processes to assure a safe, clean and organized work environment that will promote internal and external customer satisfaction. This is accomplished through training and active participation in a team environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Perform specialized machine setup including changeover for product type as instructed in procedures.
2. Perform general machine repairs and routine maintenance.
3. Move in-process materials as needed.
4. Complete designated documentation, either paperwork or computer based, such as work orders, repair tickets, set-up instruction/changeover inspection checklists, etc. that may be required.
5. Must communicate with other TPM Specialists/Team Leader in the department and be able to assist with problems that occur on the equipment and fill in for TPM Specialists who are absent.
6. Assist in maintaining a daily log of machine repairs, adjustments, and problems.
7. Keep flow of materials through department running smoothly.
8. Use a digital multimeter to measure AC and DC voltages, resistance, and continuity.
9. Must be able to identify a blown fuse or tripped breaker.
10. Verify that test parameters are correct for type of production.
11. Recognize machine faults in order to perform repairs and clear jams.
12. Must recommend changes and improve performance (efficiencies) of production equipment.
13. Create schedules and perform prescribed Preventive and Predictive Maintenance.
14. Instruct and perform approved mechanical adjustments.
15. Train and provide technical assistance to other TPM Specialists.
16. Must demonstrate a leadership role in the day-to-day routine of a production line.
17. Assist with installation of new equipment.
18. Write complex technical procedures.
19. Perform complex equipment repairs without supervision.
20. Performs approved mechanical modifications to equipment, makes changes for continuous improvement without supervision and follows up with the timely and accurate documentation to validate the changes.
21. Follow all prescribed safety practices and recommend necessary improvements.
22. Various other duties assigned by management.
23. Must complete the required training for the position (see Training Plan for Internal Factories).
24. Strive for continuous improvement in performing job duties and responsibilities.

Education, Skills and Experience
· Must fulfill all the requirements as listed in JD-TPM2 for TPM Specialist Level 2.
· Must have minimum 2 years of relevant experience or a minimum of 2 years experience as TPM Specialist Level 2 and perform at the expected level of a TPM Specialist Level 3. Performance is determined through an evaluation of teamwork and leadership skills, and the employee's ability to efficiently operate and maintain the equipment in which they have been trained.
· Be able to work without supervision.
· Must have a good working knowledge of all systems relating to the job.
· Must exhibit skills in continuous improvement, advanced problem solving and improving overall efficiencies of operations.
· Must demonstrate extra effort to gain technical ability.
· Must exhibit leadership skills.
· Must be able to perform multiple complex projects along with normal duties.
· Must demonstrate the ability to learn complex skills relating to assembly equipment.

· Knowledge and training defined for the specific area of specialty. (Process Technology, Continuous Improvement, Automation)
· Must interview and receive approval from Human Relations/Resources, Heads of Internal Factories, Technical Services and The Plant Manager.
