Responsibilities & Qualifications

What awaits you:

• You gain insights in the key production and quality processes of Novelis Europe and you work on projects
• You support the Value Streams and the production sites in improving the consistency of our material performance at our key customers to increase their satisfaction
• You foster a consistent implementation of best practices and tools in the European plants regarding process control with support of the Quality Team
• You promote process capability improvements on Novelis Europe key assets
• You actively work on approaches for training of colleagues from Operations (process and quality engineers) in the use of the specific quality & process control tools (a.o. WCM toolkit)

How you convince us:

• You have successfully completed your studies with a Master's degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Material/Natural science or similar
• During your studies you were able to gain first relevant experiences - ideally in a manufacturing environment
• You are curious to get to know other locations within the scope of a rotation and are willing to travel accordingly
• You have a hands-on mentality and want to drive sustainable solutions for our company with passion and know-how and bring your ideas to the table
• Communication and teamwork skills are among your strengths
• You like to make decisions and take responsibility
• Open-mindedness, authenticity and openness characterize you
• Business fluent Italian and English language skills as well as good MS-Office skills complete your profile

Location Profile

Novelis’ Bresso plant just north of Milan Italy employs about 190 people. It produces pre-painted aluminium sheet as well as sheet with special surfaces such as bright and embossed finishing for the building and construction industry as well as consumer and industrial products. Since 2018 the plant produces also automotive sheet better serving automotive customers in the region. In addition to its lively art and culture scene Milan is also a global capital of fashion and design known for its high-end restaurants and shops.
