Manufacturing Trainee jobs in San Francisco, CA

About the Job:

We are looking for someone to assist our senior personnel in the manufacture of our various products used primarily in the formula feed industry. Responsibilities include: unloading raw materials from trucks by hand or forklift; weighing raw materials; loading raw materials; operating mixers, sifters, hoists, scrubbers, and forklifts; labeling, packaging, and preparing shipments; and general maintenance.

At times the job can be very labor intensive and employees may be called to lift 50lb sacks and/or push 400lb steel drums. These activities take place several times a day and 40-50 separate liftings/day may occur. Applicant must be physically capable of performing this and also to walk the stairs necessary to access our equipment and raw materials.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Prior manufacturing or forklift experience is a plus but not a requirement. Same for a college degree.
