    The store supervisor has responsibility for supervising a team of store associates, coordinating their tasks, and providing guidance to ensure smooth daily operations. The store supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the store's appearance, managing staff expectations and achieving the established goals. It is essential to possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail, in managing what is required for this role at MaxFit Market. The store supervisor is accountable to the store manager. The store supervisor acts as a role model, has accountability for the daily operation of MaxFit Market, ensures the consistent application of the stores’ policies and procedures and fosters teamwork. 

    Primary Job Duties

    Store Operations Management:

    1. Supervises all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
    2. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented store environment.
    3. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

    Sales and Customer Service:

    1. Mentor staff on the Sales Excellence Champion program
    2. Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and complaints when needed
    3. Train and empower staff to deliver excellent customer service.

    Staff Management:

    1. Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage based on monthly labor forecast
    2. Conduct annual performance evaluations for direct report (s)
    3. Complete on-boarding and training programs for new-hire staff
    4. Conduct monthly 1:1 meeting with direct report (s) and provide feedback as needed
    5. Ensure staff compliance with established dress code 
    6. Observe and communicate to staff the key performance indicators for each shift
    7. Escalate to the store manager timely, to include the following:
    • Performance that meets and exceeds standards for recognition purposes
    • Behavioral concerns
    • Theft concerns
    • Policy violation concerns
    • Performance concerns
    • Attendance concerns
    • Quality control concerns i.e. products, meals or dry materials

    Inventory Management:

    1. Assist store manager to monitor and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand
    2. Assist store manager in ordering process for all other miscellaneous supplies 
    3. Mentor staff and ensure completion of established Max Fit meals inventory process
    4. Mentor staff and ensure that all products and meals are entered properly into the Shopventory program 
    5. Mentor staff and ensure completion of first in, first out and expiration process

    Financial Management:

    1. Ensure staff timecards are up-to-date daily or when on shift
    2. Ensure accurate cash handling and accounting processes are carried out by store associates
    3. Mentor staff on any new promotions/campaigns and ensure that store associates are meeting key performance indicators.

    Visual Merchandising:

    1. Assist store manager to execute store displays and promotions effectively
    2. Report customer feedback related to product and meal development to store manager

    Marketing and Promotions:

    1. Collaborate with the store manager to promote marketing campaigns 

    Health and Safety:

    1. Ensure staff compliance with health and safety regulations
    2. Ensure staff compliance with safety protocols and emergency procedures
    3. Ensure staff compliance with good manufacturing practices in blends prep area
