Market Research Supervisor supervises activities in the market research department. Ensures appropriate use of analytic techniques to determine demand for products and services. Being a Market Research Supervisor interprets and predicts consumer trends, formulates research and development proposals, and monitors research projects. A level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Additionally, Market Research Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor.     • We work across teammates in overall marketing team when necessary for content etc., but role will be solely market research based. 
    • Will be provided with a project that can be completed during the internship that includes research and collation of market intelligence for company products, customers, and service opportunities. 
    • Final project to include a presentation to Webco intern and mentor group based on market research findings.

    Qualifications


    • Working toward B.S. Degree in Marketing, Business, or related degree.
    • Must have ability to think and communicate ideas logically.
    • Must be able to work independently, as well as in a project team environment.
    • Ability to self-direct, work independently, and collaborate and communicate effectively with a cross-functional team.
    • Collaborative and can work with deadlines and fast-paced environments.
    • Strong writing skills 
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Has a desire to learn and can analyze/quantify data.
