Marketing Communication Manager manages the implementation of the marketing communications strategy and programs, including advertising, branding, product promotion, and regulatory matters. Designs, develops, and distributes consistent themes, messaging, and branding throughout all communication touch points. Being a Marketing Communication Manager understands products, customers, and industry and develops focused communications in collaboration with organizational stakeholders across functions. Oversees efficient processes for the regulatory review and approval of communication materials. Additionally, Marketing Communication Manager explores and adopts new channels, methods, and platforms to optimize marketing communications. May oversee the planning and execution of trade shows and conferences to showcase products and amplify messaging. Develops the internal and external resources required for communication program delivery. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Marketing Communication Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.     POSITION SUMMARY

    The Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications is a proven creative thinker and leader with a track record of developing and implementing strategic and creative marketing solutions. You will play a critical role in defining and executing marketing strategies, optimizing processes, and driving results that align with established business goals. The incumbent strives to stay ahead of relevant trends in healthcare, recommending how MediQuant can best position itself in a competitive market landscape. The incumbent must possess exceptional communications skills and a strong bias for action. Prior experience in healthcare IT is essential.

    JOB DUTIES and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS. A qualified individual must be able to perform these essential functions of the job as listed, with or without accommodation.

    1. Multi-Channel Campaign Strategy(*)
      1. Collaborating with other marketing team members, conceptualize, design, plan, and execute innovative, multi-channel marketing campaigns that set us apart in the industry.
      2. Utilize channels such as social media, direct mail, email marketing, website content, thought leadership, and more to drive deep audience engagement and capture valuable leads.
    2. Content Strategy and Development(*)
      1. Develop creative themes, content, and strategies for campaigns.
      2. Create and oversee a comprehensive content strategy that aligns closely with the buyer journey and sales funnel, ensuring content is engaging, informative, and resonates with our target audience across various channels.
      3. Work with PR agency and media partners to extend MediQuant’s reach through market leading thought leadership assets and activities.
    3. Event Marketing Support(*)
      1. Provide strategic, creative and tactical support to maximize MediQuant’s presence at industry events and conferences.
    4. Budget Management(*)
      1. Provide critical support to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications with annual strategy, planning and budgeting, ensuring resources are allocated strategically to drive maximum impact.

    Required Education and Experience:

    • A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in healthcare IT marketing, demonstrating a strong aptitude for strategic thinking and execution.
    • Demonstrated expertise in channel marketing, with a track record of developing and executing high-impact, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
    • A proven ability to measure program performance, analyze ROI, and use data-driven insights to continually enhance strategies.
    • A highly collaborative and communicative leader who excels in cross-functional collaboration, aligning teams toward common objectives.
    • Knowledge and experience with marketing automation and sales automation systems, including Salesforce or similar tools.
    • Possess a strong bias for action, with the confidence to explore new ideas and strategies, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in healthcare IT B2B marketing.
    • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, conveying our vision and strategy effectively both internally and externally.

    Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

    Work Environment. This job operates in a blend of professional office and home office environments. Incumbent will use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    Physical Demands. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit for long periods of time, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

    Position Type and Expected Hours of Work. This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

    Travel. Travel is required. Incumbent will occasionally experience some out-of-the-area and overnight travel as needed for conferences and meetings.
