Marketing Communication Manager manages the implementation of the marketing communications strategy and programs, including advertising, branding, product promotion, and regulatory matters. Designs, develops, and distributes consistent themes, messaging, and branding throughout all communication touch points. Being a Marketing Communication Manager understands products, customers, and industry and develops focused communications in collaboration with organizational stakeholders across functions. Oversees efficient processes for the regulatory review and approval of communication materials. Additionally, Marketing Communication Manager explores and adopts new channels, methods, and platforms to optimize marketing communications. May oversee the planning and execution of trade shows and conferences to showcase products and amplify messaging. Develops the internal and external resources required for communication program delivery. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Marketing Communication Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Marketing Communication Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • Hanes Fabrics Inc., a division of Leggett & Platt Inc., is seeking a Marketing Manager in the hospitality FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) architectural and design community to showcase and market drapery blackout fabrics in the design phase to clients. This is a fully remote position for an experienced candidate.
    This role is to provide best in class marketing services to clients including designers, purchasing firms, hotel brands and workrooms via product and industry knowledge, introduction of new products and innovations to drive sales within the drapery blackout fabric space. Entrée to the targeted hospitality clients is paramount to achieve success. You will join a cohesive team that will provide unparalleled products, logistics, and customer service support.

    So, what will you be doing as a Marketing Manager?

    • Develop and maintain relationships with the A&D community that specialize in hospitality drapery blackout fabrics.
    • Drive business growth with client relationships and make recommendations on immerging trends and product opportunities.
    • Meet pipeline and sales targets.
    • Develop and execute thoughtful and relative client presentations.
    • Maintain project statuses in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
    • Build strong relationships with the internal sales and support teams.
    • Document all communications and activities in the CRM.
    To be successful in this role, you'll need:
    • Existing relationships within the A&D community with hospitality property companies and brand subgroups.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
    • Knowledge of CRM software.
    • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & SharePoint).
    • Must be able to work independently.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to stay organized and multi-task on various projects.
    • Previous experience with negotiations.
    • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
    • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize simultaneous requests.
    • Ability to travel to clients and trade shows.
