Marketing Communication Manager manages the implementation of the marketing communications strategy and programs, including advertising, branding, product promotion, and regulatory matters. Being a Marketing Communication Manager understands products, customers, and industry and develops focused communications in collaboration with organizational stakeholders across functions. Additionally, Marketing Communication Manager explores and adopts new channels, methods, and platforms to optimize marketing communications.     Job Summary:

    The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all Hamilton Health Center marketing, communications and public relations strategies, campaigns, and activities – both external and internal. The position is responsible for the organization’s brand and reputation management and supports the strategic and operational objectives of Hamilton through a multichannel marketing and communications function that includes Paid, Earned, Shared and Owned media.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develops and coordinates communications and marketing plans and strategies to increase visibility and awareness of Hamilton Health’s mission, services, and care locations.
    • Builds brand awareness; creates programs that promote the organization’s image in a positive and community-oriented way.
    • Develops strategic marketing plans and deliverables for review and feedback from senior leaders, including strategic objectives, strategies, tactics, timeline, and budgets.
    • Manages and oversees all front-door digital channels, including Hamilton’s website, social media and e-marketing – including the development and execution of a multichannel content calendar.
    • Serves as the social media content lead, producing and distributing multimedia content and building engagement across Hamilton’s digital channels.
    • Ensures content is kept current across all channels – including website, social media and print collateral.
    • Utilizes best practices in SEO to optimize all digital content and channels, including using analytics tools and software to improve performance and develop reports for senior leaders and the board.
    • Manages the production and distribution of all creative marketing and communications pieces, including digital and traditional media, e-marketing and direct mail.
    • Manages and coordinates all media relations activities – proactive and reactive – including but not limited to building and maintaining positive relationships with local media, developing and distributing news releases, developing and executing strategic media pitches, responding to media inquiries, planning and executing press conferences, coordinating media interviews and other proactive media opportunities.
    • Leads and manages the production of major publications, including the annual report and other relevant printed and online reports.
    • Manages and coordinates all aspects of Hamilton’s newsletter production and distribution.
    • Works with external marketing, public relations, graphic design and multimedia vendors to support the strategic objectives of Hamilton.
    • Helps develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
    • Coordinates public speaking engagements and community presentations and assists in the planning and execution of special events, including fundraising activities and community and stakeholder engagement events.

    Minimum Education/Certifications:
    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications or similar field. Minimum of 5 years of work experience in corporate/nonprofit marketing & communications departments and/or related marketing/PR agency experience including experience developing and executing multi-channel, multimedia marketing and media campaigns.
