Moorings Park is looking for a highly motivated and creative Marketing Communications Specialist to join our advertising team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating compelling content for a range of marketing channels, including ads, direct mail, blogs, PR, and social media. Additionally, they will assist the Director of Advertising with administrative duties.
Contributions:
- Develop creative and effective content for various marketing channels, including ads, direct mail, blogs, PR, and social media.
- Write engaging and persuasive ad copy for online and offline channels, such as display ads, social media ads, email campaigns, and direct mail pieces.
- Create informative and insightful blog posts and articles that demonstrate thought leadership in our industry.
- Draft press releases and pitches to secure media coverage in relevant publications and outlets.
- Manage and maintain our company's social media presence, including posting updates, responding to comments and messages, and growing our following.
- Assist the Director of Advertising with administrative duties, such as trafficking jobs, scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing budgets.
- Collaborate with other members of the marketing team, including designers, videographers, and outside vendors, to ensure that all content is consistent and aligned with our brand messaging and goals.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in marketing communications and make recommendations for improving our strategy and tactics.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in marketing communications, advertising, or a related field.
- Proficiency with social media platforms, content management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Monday.com is a plus.
- Experience with email marketing platforms, Google Analytics, and SEO best practices is a plus, as are photography and design skills.
