    Overview

    Responsible for content creation, production and execution of a wide range of internal and external communications projects that support strategic goals. Ensure accuracy and timeliness and remain flexible to demands. Work cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Analyzes marketing and promotional needs, and designs and implements marketing communications strategies that support organizational objectives. Groups served: clients, community partners, staff, senior leaders, and board members.

    Role Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, public relations, communications or related field. 
    • Demonstrated competence in written, grammar, interpersonal and electronic communications skills. Understanding of communication principles, concepts and general business practices. 
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
    • Use of desktop publishing and content management programs (ex. Wordpress, Kentico, Sharepoint). 
    • Ability to effectively and accurately manage multiple projects. 
    • Apply SEO principles/experience in creating web content, for maximum web effectiveness. Knowledge of HTML helpful, but not necessary.
    • Willingness to learn and stay ahead of trends to apply newfound knowledge to tasks.
    • Customer-driven, professional attitude with a work methodology that maximizes high-quality, service and error prevention. 
    • Skilled in navigating and sustaining a large server environment for organizing projects. Necessary capabilities include:
