Key Responsibilities
- Foster Relationships: Take charge of daily communications with a portfolio of licensors, remaining informed about design advancement, market trends, and potential growth opportunities. Act as the primary liaison between licensors and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct Business Reviews: Organize and facilitate quarterly business review sessions with licensors to reinforce partnerships.
- Manage Design Development: Work closely with the Creative Director and team to evaluate and oversee the progression and lifecycle of licensed designs, focusing on both sales performance and profitability.
- Provide Licensor Support: Respond to licensor inquiries for information and sales forecasts, ensuring their requirements are addressed.
- Ensure Compliance: Assist the Licensing Compliance team in upholding adherence to licensing agreements.
- Coordinate Approval Processes: Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate a seamless product and design approval process, including managing the color approval workflow for all licensed products with the Art Production Manager.
- Act as Marketing Liaison: Function as the marketing contact for all licensed materials produced by our internal teams, ensuring consistency with brand standards.
- Track Approvals: Oversee and monitor product approvals from various licensors, providing follow-ups as required.
Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in licensing, with established relationships with licensors being a significant advantage.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication capabilities are essential.
- Negotiation Skills: Proficient negotiation abilities with a proactive work approach.
- Team Player: Demonstrated professionalism and courtesy in managing work relationships, with the capacity to build robust connections at all levels, both internally and externally.
