As the Compliance Analyst Specialist, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners and our main stakeholder to develop and execute data governance and compliance strategies. You will drive data standardization initiatives, optimize data operations, and improve data integrity across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Compliance Project Management:Lead cross-functional compliance projects (GDPR, DMA, etc.), ensuring timely delivery, risk mitigation, and clear communication to stakeholdersCollaborate with Contact Main, GCBP, Web Teams, and others to establish and maintain effective compliance processes and documentationOversee and improve opt-in operations to ensure compliance with regulationsConduct regular audits of marketing systems and processes to identify and remediate compliance gapsData Governance and Compliance Expertise:Define and implement a comprehensive data compliance roadmap aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirementsDevelop and enforce data standardization rules and governance policies across marketing systemsProvide expert guidance on data compliance best practices to cross-functional teamsData Operations and Quality:- Audit engineering data workflows and data migration projects to ensure data quality and integrity
- Partner with engineering teams to validate field mapping and resolve data discrepancies
- Identify and address sources of bad data to maintain marketing database integrity
- Reporting, Analysis, and Training:
- Streamline reporting and analysis processes to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
- Assist in the development training materials and documentation to promote data hygiene best practices among end-users
- Create and maintain data dictionaries to ensure data consistency and accuracy
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed to support business decision-making
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience in data-driven marketing, marketing/sales operations, strategy & operations or consulting
- 5 years Experience with Data Privacy and GDPR regulations. Familiarity with or knowledge of various privacy laws and regulations and their impact for businesses
- Strong stakeholder management skills. Prior experience in a role requiring business judgment, analytical problem solving, quantitative analysis, project management and communicating findings to senior management
- 3 years SQL experience in a role requiring business judgment, analytical problem solving, quantitative analysis, and communicating findings to senior management
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to work across teams and geographies to manage projects, resolve conflicts, drive decisions, prioritize, and manage ambiguity
- Track record of process improvement, project management and executions
- Experience with Marketo with the Marketo Certification (MCE or Marketo Engage Certification), Salesforce data, segmentation and reporting for Marketing
