My client is a multifaceted medium-sized general contractor with offices and operations in Jacksonville, FL. They are looking for a Project manager/Estimator with experience in Multifamily exterior Paint/Wood replenishing to join their team. The projects are between a few hundred dollars to $1 million across the Jacksonville area. They are looking for either an experienced Estimator that can Project Manager the work or a Project Manager that can Estimate and complete the job.
The Role of the Project Manager/Estimator:- Estimate a job from leads and win the work competitively.
- Undertake the procurement of Subcontractors.
- Manage all contracts with clients and subcontractors.
- Agree on Prices with Contractors.
- Liaise with clients and produce a program of works for the contract.
- Project Management of several projects with management on each site.
- Liaising with all involved parties to complete the project on time and within budget
- Work towards bringing projects on time and within budget.
- Heading up sub-contractor and client meetings.
- Liaising with Owners.
The ideal Project Manager/Estimator will have the following:- Experience in Estimating Multifamily Paint/Wood replenishing and multifamily renovations/maintenance.
- Experience in Project managing Multifamily Paint/Wood replenishing.
Experience in Estimating and project managing projects between a few hundred dollars to $1 million- Be commutable to Jacksonville, FL
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Take good leads.
- Estimate
- Compose proposals.
- Experience in Multifamily renovations.
- Experience using excel and word is a must.
