Seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented person to join the Marketing support Team to Operate large format printers, digital transfer applications, heat presses, laminators, cutters and/or bindery and other post-printing production equipment under direct supervision.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Responsible for accurate file preparation, ensuring that all files meet the specified requirements and proofs.
- Operate and maintain large format printers, laminators, cutter, folder, scanner, padding machine, etc.
- Evaluates and inspects print samples during print runs to identify necessary adjustments.
- Confirm the compatibility of fonts, art, and photographic links in the document.
- Inspect vector art and photographic images for resolution, color accuracy, and proportional sizing.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of various print shop equipment; assist with minor repair and replacement of equipment parts.
- Maintain supply levels.
- Must have ability to properly measure and cut needed materials such as vinyl, paper, foam board, etc.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:

Proficiency in relevant software packages (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in file preparation.
- Knowledge of printing processes and color corrections.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively work within a team.
- Prior experience in a pre-press or print production environment preferred.
- Must have basic knowledge for handling digital files (e.g., converting file formats)
- Must be a team player with the ability to collaborate and work well with other team members and management.
- Assemble orders for pickup/delivery.
- Communicate effectively by phone, email, and in-person, and provide excellent productivity.
- Must have the ability to work standing for full shift and can pick up loads of up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work quickly, multi-task, and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Willing to accept responsibility and take instruction well.
- Keep work areas clean, stocked, and free from clutter.
- Able to fit into a changing work environment quickly.
- Requires computer-related tasks.
Education and Experience:

Possesses working knowledge of print production.
- Requires a high school diploma, associate degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of work experience.
- Basic knowledge of operations of printing equipment utilizing associated software.
- Graphic designs skills are beneficial and encouraged.
