  • RadiFi Credit Union (formerly Jax Federal Credit Union) is seeking a Marketing Specialist to play a key role in shaping RadiFi Credit Union’s marketing strategies by integrating creativity, strategy, and operational expertise. This role encompasses various responsibilities, including graphic design, website content creation and maintenance, digital advertising, online reputation management, project coordination and oversight, event planning and coordination, social media content development, administrative tasks, and other duties as assigned. This multifaceted position provides a distinct opportunity for an individual to make a meaningful impact on the success of the credit union.

    Simultaneously, the Marketing Specialist formulates and executes strategies to boost brand awareness and services, utilizing diverse digital platforms, participating in community outreach events, and employing effective techniques. Through extensive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, the Marketing Specialist, equipped with a comprehensive understanding of RadiFi’s core values, mission, vision, products, services, and brand, translates industry trends, competitor information, and local marketplace insights into actionable objectives and formal action plans. This approach plays a vital role in driving the credit union’s overall success.

    Status: Full-time (approximately 40 hours per week)


    Major Duties and Responsibilities:


    Brand Management, Content Development & Design:
    • Maintain a consistent brand image across all channels, encompassing website content, graphic design, and digital advertising.
    • Drive online presence through comprehensive digital marketing strategies, utilizing social media, email, digital advertising campaigns, and optimizing the website.
    • Create diverse graphic and written content for multiple channels, including blogs, social media, corporate communications, newsletters, and promotional materials.
    • Manage and enhance the credit union's website, execute digital advertising campaigns, and conduct A/B testing for continuous improvement; along with results tracking.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing strategies with product offerings, ensuring a cohesive approach that generate the desired results to meet defined goals.
    • Develop visually appealing and consistent marketing materials as needed.
    • Develop and maintain advertising content on the credit union's online banking and mobile app platforms, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
    • Create content for e-statement notifications and other e-notices, contributing to a comprehensive and engaging digital communication strategy.
    • Develop and implement interactive marketing campaigns for branch network signage.
    • Monitor online product and service performance, analyze user behavior, and stay current on best practices.
    • Create and curate engaging content and graphics for the credit union’s intranet site, ensuring timely and relevant information.


    Market Research, Events, and Analytics:

    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and member preferences.
    • Organize and execute community events, coordinating marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
    • Implement metrics and analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness, ensuring compliance with industry standards.


    Social, Multi-Media and Digital Engagement:

    • Supervise the credit union’s online reputation, actively monitoring social media channels, and online reputation and review management platform. Respond thoughtfully to comments and reviews, ensuring a positive online presence.
    • Coordinate with key stakeholders for their responses and follow up.
    • Generate compelling digital content, encompassing calendar creation, posts, and graphics, across all social media platforms.
    • Conduct comprehensive reporting and engage in strategic planning to optimize social media performance and enhance overall impact.
    • Manage online and digital initiatives, overseeing the website, microsites, and email marketing efforts for a cohesive online presence.
    • Capture high-quality photographs to visually represent credit union events, products, and branding.
    • Create and edit engaging videos to support marketing initiatives, ensuring the delivery of compelling visual narratives.
    • Develop reels, shorts, and other multimedia content to elevate the credit union’s online presence and foster increased audience engagement.
    • Produce diverse and informative content through podcasts, webcasts, and webinars, catering to the credit union’s audience and aligning with organizational goals.


    Public Relations and Community Engagement:

    • Cultivate positive relationships with external stakeholders, media outlets, and community partners.
    • Develop and execute public relations strategies aligned with the credit union’s goals and values.
    • Coordinate outreach events to enhance the credit union’s image within the community.
    • Collaborate with strategy owners to plan and execute outreach events for advancing strategic initiatives.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of credit union-wide engagement activities through key performance indicators.
    • Foster collaboration and teamwork, both internally and externally.
    • Develop, promote, and execute onsite and offsite events, publicizing them through various channels.


    Materials Management, Logistics, and Special Projects

    • Order printed supplies and materials for the credit union, maintaining stock supply and fostering good vendor relationships. Design new printed products as needed.
    • Design and order materials for special projects, holidays, promotions, and branding supplies for branches, on-demand requests and other items as requested ensuring timely delivery.


    Administrative and Project Management:

    • Efficiently schedule and coordinate meetings, ensuring optimal participation and timely communication.
    • Monitor and enforce project deadlines, facilitating collaboration to meet organizational goals.
    • Maintain organizational efficiency through oversight of task prioritization and streamlined workflows.


    Adaptability and Additional Responsibilities:

    • Exhibit a proactive willingness to undertake additional duties as assigned, swiftly pivoting, and embracing changes in a dynamic work environment to contribute to the overall success of the department and the credit union as a whole.


    Collaboration and Support:

    • Engage seamlessly with other departments in crafting marketing materials and campaigns to propel business development initiatives.
    • Foster an uplifting workplace environment by actively supporting internal communications, maintaining the efficiency of requests received from branch and department managers.
    • Play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the marketing department, ensuring both efficiency and comprehensive support through an optimistic and collaborative approach.


    Knowledge and Skills

    Experience:

    3 years of hands-on experience in developing and executing impactful marketing strategies encompassing graphic design and content writing across digital and traditional channels. Proficiency in utilizing analytics tools to evaluate campaign performance and optimize for maximum impact is essential. Additionally, a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams and successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously is required. Credit union industry experience is preferred.


    Education/Certifications/Licenses:

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design or related field.


    Interpersonal Skills:

    A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers.


    Other Skills:

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in marketing operations, with a focus on brand management, digital marketing, and content creation.
    • Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies.
    • Proficient in graphic design tools and website management including Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and WordPress experience.
    • Experience with online reputation management and social media monitoring platforms, such as Birdeye and Agorapulse.
    • Strong understanding of market research, event coordination, marketing automation and data analytics.
    • Track record of successful collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.


    Skills:

    • Exceptional creativity and strategic thinking.
    • Advanced knowledge of digital marketing platforms and tools: Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Manager and Meta Business Suite experience strongly preferred.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills.
    • Prior experience in the financial industry or credit unions.
