    We are seeking a versatile Marketing Specialist in our Gardiner, ME location to directly support the Marketing Director in a wide range of administrative, primary, and strategic marketing duties across our entire geographic footprint from Maine to Florida. The Marketing Specialist provides vital support focused on evolving the corporate brand, maximizing Employee Ownership, and advancing our culture and mission to deliver the best services to customers with a "Making it Happen" approach.     What you will be doing:

    • Reports to and partners with Executive Management in the evolution of company-wide business development and sales strategy
    • Provides business development and marketing support to fifteen Operating Divisions and twelve internal departments
    • Provides internal customer-service oriented communications and training support to eleven departments
    • Creates and manages all internal employee communications
    • Oversees Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) to maintain and update Marketing and Sales databases, and analyze related data
    • Writes articles, press releases and promotional materials for external and internal audiences
    • Oversees production, maintenance and SEO of 3 corporate websites, and one employee intranet; Responsible for generation of all content.
    • Assists with In-Bound Marketing campaigns and ongoing major campaigns for Corporate Branding & Mission, Employer Branding, Safety, Employee Ownership and Company Culture
    • Creates and update Qualification Packages, Company promotional materials, and Company communication templates
    • Market research, plan & budget preparation, insertion order and trade ad preparation & fulfillment
    • Collaborates to support a social media presence for branding and recruitment
    • Copywrites, designs, and produces collateral, direct mail, print, and online
    • Manages video production for marketing and recruitment purposes
    • Public Relations: Generates and disseminates press releases, feature stories, etc.; monitors and reports on press coverage
    • Oversees corporate & regional Philanthropy strategy, budgets, facilitation, and communications
    • Prepares marketing initiative budgets
    • Manages promotional swag for executives, customers, and employees; research, pricing, quality control, fulfillment, and inventory management
    • Performs additional marketing assignments and support functions, as needed

    In order to be successful in this role, here’s what we will need from you:

    • Goal-oriented expertise in communications origination & implementation for a broad array of applications and audiences
    • Experience conceptualizing creative solutions to marketing and sales objectives
    • Detail-oriented development and management of budgets, production schedules, and personnel teams, in-house & freelance
    • Strong MS Office Suite skills required, and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically with Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software experience a plus.
    • MAC experience strongly preferred
    • Online experience with Social Media, SEO and Website management, content generation, and maintenance

    You are an experienced and proactive Marketing professional with 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction industry or professional services environment. You may hold a MS or BA/BS in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications, and you possess strong skills in writing, strategic planning, and market & situational analysis. In addition to being highly organized, you are also adept at problem solving, prioritizing tasks, time management, and effective communication and collaboration with all levels of team members. You are equally comfortable contributing at both ends of the spectrum – on a strategic level as well as tactical task-oriented level to help ensure organizational success!
