Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing various aspects of customer communications, email campaign support, and social media activities.
He or she will work closely with product marketing, sales and customer experience. This position requires a strong understanding of marketing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Customer Communications :
Drafting customer communications including letters, talking points, and FAQs.
Distributing customer communications through list-building, email building, testing, and configuring send settings in ESP.
Managing ongoing customer communication calendar including known software updates, office closures, newsletters, and other planned or regular communications to customers.
Supporting one-off customer communications distribution for reactive communications such as urgent software issues, outages, product alerts, and more.
Reporting on customer communications efforts.
Email Marketing Support :
Populating nurture sequences (from templates) to support campaigns and / or trade show communications, following a proposed plan from the marketing manager.
Creating and distributing marketing emails in our ESP, configuring distribution based on defined campaign objectives.
Social Media :
Writing and posting organic social media posts.
Maintaining a social media calendar in collaboration with Corporate Communications.
Monitoring social channels to flag content that needs a response, showing increasing capability to respond proactively over time.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Proficiency with email marketing platforms and CRMs such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Pardot, Constant Contact or MailChimp.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive and self-motivated.
