NegotiablePrimary Function6 Month Contract-Seeking a motivated, creative, and highly organized Marketing Specialist to support a proprietary event series.
Work closely with the series marketing strategist to deliver effective messaging and positioning, content, social and go to, marketing efforts.
A seasoned events professional, this Specialist will have collaborated with diverse audience portfolios, including technology decision makers and share a solid understanding of event promotion.
PAY TRANSPARENCYRANGE : $110k - $130k / annualDuties & ResponsibilitiesManage and update the two main event webpagesHelp drive messaging and positioning for our diverse audienceDrive the field sales customer nomination and registration process, including training, weekly updates and tracking to targetCreate timely and accurate tracking and data-driven upstream reporting;
develop data analysis to track, compare & contrast event efforts for continued plan improvements and enhancementsResponsible for updating weekly graphs and tracking goals for registration reportingCollaborate with agency and marketing manager to ensure marketing messages track to objectives, drive registrations and event updates.
Focus on quality.Help drive executive meetings in Jiffle Now tool, assist in RainFocus tool management as needed.Collaborate with agencies to create compelling and creative assets that help drive attendanceDevelop positive working relationships with project stakeholders and colleaguesPossible occasional travel for site surveys, tech rehearsals and live events as neededSpecial projects and other duties as assignedSkills & QualificationsEnergy and enthusiasm for the industryUnderstanding of analytical and statistical techniquesCustomer focus, understanding pain points, and the context in which they workHigh level of sense of urgency;
Actively listens to others and acts upon information gainedExcellent communication, presentation, and organizational skillsGood understanding of marketing vehicles ranging from social, web, email, and additional creative ways to reach target audiencesAbility to interface effectively with a variety of people in a corporate environment, including execs, crew, clients, and vendors to establish productive, ongoing relationshipsProficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and event management toolsEducation & Experience6 years in an audience marketing, product marketing or product management role, or equivalent experience3 years of social media and / or digital marketing experience with creative social media campaignsProven ability to manage projects within the constraints of time, scope, and budgetDirect experience with F100 tech companies and stakeholders is preferredBachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, Design or similar is preferredTo ApplyDiversity Inclusion & Customer Service StatementTeamPeople is an organization dedicated to providing superior customer service.
