Marketing Specialist
Reports to: Director, Marketing Communications – Electronic Access Controls
Location: Berlin, CT
Summary Description:
As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the planning, execution, and tracking of our marketing campaigns and initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to creative strategies, and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the marketing team to execute integrated marketing communication campaigns across various channels, including website, social media, email, and traditional advertising.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of content for marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, press releases, and website content, ensuring brand consistency and messaging clarity, working cross-functionally and with other internal marketing teams.
- Assist the marketing team in supporting business development colleagues with co-branded materials, local trade shows and events and vertical market specific promotional collateral.
- Assist in ensuring data and assets are tagged properly and available for use in our Product Information Management and Digital Asset Management platforms.
- Balance multiple projects, working in a team or independently to meet set deadlines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Educational Requirements, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4 - 5 years of experience in marketing communications, preferably in B2B or building products industry
- Strong time management and project management skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently when required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing platforms, Salesforce CRM, email tools and marketing automation.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or other similar software is a plus.
- Creative thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
