Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides a highly reliable, scalable, and low-cost cloud platform that powers thousands of businesses in over 190 countries. AWS’ Infrastructure Supply Chain & Procurement (ISCaP) organization works to deliver cutting-edge solutions to source, build and maintain our socially responsible data center supply chains. We are a team of highly-motivated, engaged, and responsive professionals who enable the core sustainable infrastructure of AWS. Come join our team and be a part of history as we deliver results for the largest cloud services company on Earth!

We are seeking a results-oriented individual to manage our order management business operations, reports, metrics, and work with key internal stakeholders across different Organizations. This role will fall under the Supply Chain organization for the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Power & Cooling team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and a creative critical thinker with an intense curiosity and learning drive. You must be able to communicate appropriately and effectively with people at every level.

As a member of the Power & Cooling team, you will manage order management activities for Power and Cooling Equipment supporting AWS datacenter build projects. You will be responsible and accountable for accurate and timely purchase request entries to make sure that the right equipment arrives at the right place at the right time. You will work with our internal customers and business partners to identify accurate information related to purchase request entries and timing requirements as well as remove any blockers from progressing the procurement process to the next stage.

We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

    • Manage, analyze and reconcile purchase orders internally and externally
    • Work with vendors and sourcing to coordinate purchase order changes and approvals
    • Monitor and coordinate purchase order issuance and cancellations
    • Tracking recurring issues that arise in the purchase requisition to purchase order creation process and proactively recommend solutions to improve the process
    • Present the performance and metrics associated with the purchase requisition to purchase order processes
    • Positive communication and interaction with internal teams
