Responsible for receiving, signing in, and inventorying all B&R purchased project materials and providing associated documentation/receiving tickets to the field office.
Will manage all aspects of the projects material lay down yard which may contain materials for as many as 20 different small projects at a time.
Will develop a system to organize project materials by project with a grid/shelf labeling system that can be tracked, updated, and used for quick retrieval of materials as they are moved from lay down area to the field.
Will develop and implement a material request procedure to track when materials leave the lay down area for the field.
Will develop and manage a bag and tag system for small materials items with input from field supervision and site management to prevent too many materials from leaving the lay down area sooner than needed at the risk of being lost in the field.
Depending on work load/amount of materials may supervise a small crew of laydown yard helpers/operators.
Will assist with organizing Grace purchased materials for the same projects. *
When Lay down yard and receiving duties are slow, may be asked to assist with material take offs and requisitions for future projects.
Basic knowledge and understanding of drawings including piping isometrics, structural steel, and civil plans and details are desired.
