Material & Inventory Coordinator

Are you a detail-oriented individual with experience in inventory management and material coordination? We are looking for a Material & Inventory Coordinator to join our team at LIT Workshop, here in Portland, OR.

**POSITION SUMMARY: **The primary function of the Materials Coordinator is to be intimate and accountable for all incoming and company owned materials and be able to communicate with coworkers as to the status of said materials.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Coordinate the movement of materials and inventory within the facility
• Track all incoming materials to due date and report discrepancies
• Utilize forklifts to transport materials safely and efficiently
• Manage inventory levels using ERP software
• Ensure materials and inventory meet our quality standards, and report and quarantine all non-conforming materials.
• Operate forklifts to move materials and inventory as needed
• Utilize ERP software to track inventory levels and manage material flow
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet standards
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand material requirements and pull materials for production.
• Source and procure materials as needed

Qualifications

• Forklift licensed with experience operating forklifts
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, including lifting and moving heavy materials
• Excellent communication skills to work with team members and vendors
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Knowledge of quality control processes
