Job Summary: As an Account Relationship Agent, you will be a crucial link between our organization and our clients, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining positive relationships. This role involves managing client accounts, addressing inquiries, and proactively identifying opportunities for account growth and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients through regular communication and engagement.
- Understand clients' needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions and exceed expectations.
- Account Maintenance:
- Address and resolve client inquiries, concerns, or issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products/services and troubleshoot any challenges.
- Proactive Account Growth:
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling based on clients' evolving needs.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to promote additional products or services to existing clients.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their future requirements and align our offerings accordingly.
- Client Education:
- Provide clients with information on new features, products, or services that may benefit their operations.
- Feedback Collection:
- Gather feedback from clients on their experiences and satisfaction levels.
- Communicate client feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
- Generate regular reports on client account health, activity, and potential opportunities.
Daily Responsibilities and Duties:
- Uses friendly and professional conduct in receiving all calls
- Stays logged into the phone system 90% of the workday and answers every call before the third ring
- Devotes adequate attention to key account holders
- Keys in telephoned, emailed, and faxed orders into company database, (ASW)
- Follows up with open orders as needed
- Maintains working relationship with outside sales representatives, communicating prices and other requested information as needed
- Resolves purchasing and delivery discrepancies and recommends appropriate action to correct errors
- Create quotes in ASW and distribute to customer and / or OSR
- Create work orders for collateral materials
- Work shipped less than ordered and pre-invoice audit report
- Try to move slow moving inventory specials (SDO)
- Audit handler order status, (make sure there are no status 10 or 00’s at day’s end)
- Work cooperatively with coworkers and other departments to keep them informed of relevant information, allow proper transfer of inquiries beyond the scope of position and assure positive customer relationships
- Writes requests for credit/debit memos for review by Specialty Products Customer Services Management
- Stays continuously updated on product information
- Makes scripted outbound calls to customers regarding product information and updates
- Submit IT work orders using BMD IT software for any computer or technology problems
- Expected to attend frequent product-training meetings before and after regular work hours and during lunch times.
- Performs other duties as requested by the Specialty Products Customer Services Division Management
