Materials Control Manager manages daily operations and planning to optimize the flow of raw materials, supplies, and equipment from initial procurement to the final disposition and fulfill material requirements for volume, cost, and scheduling business operations. Uses material requirement plans to ensure the required flow of materials is maintained. Being a Materials Control Manager coordinates procurement, warehouse, and distribution operations to improve operational efficiencies and workflows crucial to the flow of materials. Monitors operations and troubleshoots and resolves operational roadblocks. Additionally, Materials Control Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage demand and production scheduling for single unit with multiple customer(s) / product(s).
· Support new product/program launches.
· Works closely with customers, team leaders to determine daily production requirements.
· Use parameters to drive inventory levels within manufacturing unit.
· Leads improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
· Continuous improvement team involvement. Member of product transfer teams.
· Works with Materials Launch team for new product / program launch.
· Formalizes Weekly Forecasts/Sales and Operations planning data.
Required Skills:
· Broad based supply chain management and process development knowledge.
· Planning and scheduling, Demand Management, Cum Management, Customer Measurement systems, Inventory Management, Material systems and working knowledge of operations, accounting, purchasing and other related production functions

Required Education:
