Materials Director directs and oversees an organization's material management policies, objectives, and initiatives. Responsible for purchase of raw materials, supplies, and equipment. Being a Materials Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a top management. The Materials Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function.
