    Element has an opportunity for a Metallurgy Testing Technician whose primary responsibility is to perform routine, metallurgical preparations in a laboratory setting.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare samples using various cut off saws and metallurgical mounting and polishing equipment
    • Perform routine metallurgical testing, including micro / macro examinations
    • Ensure work compliance to all customer requirements and standard procedures
    • Coordinating with the team to carry out work per the planning schedule

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Entry Level position. No degree required
    • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in testing, quality inspection, manufacturing, or related field preferred
    • Ideal candidate exhibits a willingness and ability to absorb a lot of information in a short amount of time
