    Honeywell Aerospace Materials Engineering is seeking Materials Engineer in Glendale, AZ.

    Key Job Characteristics:

    • Provide business focused engineering solutions for local design and manufacturing of products for space & defense applications such as momentum control, guidance & navigation, control systems, etc.
    • Provide leadership and individual contribution for materials engineering projects
    • Be responsible for program level activities and requirement compliance
    • Personal management of many concurrent task assignments
    • Specific types of engineering activities include but are not limited to:
      • Provide recommendations for various issues arising during manufacturing
      • Verify performance and environmental requirement compliance
      • Preparation of materials engineering inputs to proposals and other customer reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR)
      • Development of material and process control plans and other types of contractual deliverables such as non-standard approval requests (e.g., MUA, NSMAR, PMPR), contamination/corrosion control plans, etc.
      • Creation of Materials Identification and Usage Lists
      • Ownership of material and procurement specifications
      • M&P authority for drawing review & sign-off
