    Advanced Materials Manufacturing (AMM) is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and hands-on mechanical/ manufacturing engineer to participate in a growing startup in Raleigh, North Carolina. Experience and understanding of the design, manufacturing, and post-processing of metals will put a candidate in the preferred category. The engineer will be responsible for design and manufacturing and take part in research, development, and commercialization.

    Starting salary will be evaluated based on the candidate's credentials and experience.

    The ideal candidate would have:

    • Hands-on manufacturing, engineering, and problem-solving expertise.
    • Startup Experience
    • Design, CAD, Solidworks, and modeling knowledge and experience

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Manufacturing, Mechanical, or materials engineering with a Master's degree and 2 years of experience or internship in manufacturing OR a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of Hands-On experience. Our engineers do not just sit at a desk and design, they get involved.
    • Good English writing skills
    • US citizenship

    Responsibilities include:

    • Lead manufacturing and product development efforts.
    • Complete engineering-related tasks, including but not limited to designing parts and fixtures, writing project reports and proposals, completing financial projections, etc.
    • Work with outside vendors to source equipment, materials, service providers, etc.
