We are looking for a organized and efficient Materials Planner with excellent attention to detail, that will be able to negotiate and communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors for several of our innovative energy programs. We offer exciting opportunities for energetic, self-motivated individuals looking for an extraordinary new career.Salary: $50,000 - 62,000/yearResponsibilities:
- Work closely with multiple departments to clearly understand business requirements, identify risks, and manage critical paths.
- Develop high level plan for make items.
- Interact with suppliers to learn about their product lines, services, and pricing.
- Evaluate suppliers by considering price, quality, lead times and other criteria.
- Negotiate, obtain final quotes, and create detailed purchase requisition for goods, materials and services.
- Schedule manufacturing orders and release as components become available.
- Work closely with Purchasing and Manufacturing to proactively support internal and external customer requirements.
- Ensure planning and scheduling processes are followed in adherence with Teledyne’s ISO 9001 certification.
Qualifications:- Minimum 1 year of Planning / Scheduling experience in a Manufacturing environment and a High School Diploma.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft® Office products, especially Outlook and Excel.
- Proficiency with ERP system, especially Item Masters, Bills of Materials, Inventory Management, Manufacturing Orders, Revision Control.
- Attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent record keeping skills.
