We are currently seeking a meat packager/processor in our meat processing room and smokehouse. Communication skills along with packaging, sealing, labeling and basic calculator knowledge is needed, assembly line setup for a fast paced environment. You would also need to be able lift 60 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day as well as stand for long periods of time in cooler temperatures. General knowledge on sanitation. Organization and teamwork go hand and hand in this position. Responsible for daily cleanings in the processing rooms. Compensation is based on prior experience but we are willing to train. We have a great team to train you and work with you to learn all areas of the processing room. There are various computerized processing equipment that you are also trained to operate. During our busier season which is typically September through February we require work on some weekends and overtime will be paid time and a half.
