We are looking for an Office Assistant to help with the running of the daily administrative operations of the company.
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks in a fast-paced environment and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

General Duties

• Answer phones and transfer to the appropriate staff member, take and distribute accurate messages
• Provide clerical support including, but not limited to photocopying, faxing, scanning, filing, data entry
• Maintain accurate records and files on all areas that require documentation
• Provide internal and external customer service support
• Maintain accurate records and files on all areas that require documentation
• Collect receipts for approved employee reimbursements and submit to Financial Manager in a timely manner… (parking, bag fees, clothing allowance, actual reimbursement for items, etc.)
• Assist HR, Payroll, Scheduler and Logistics personnel
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Computer literacy with proficiency in of all MS Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• High degree of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
• Display a positive attitude and professional image
• Self-starter who works well independently and as part of team to meet critical deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong organizational skills with the ability multi-task and adapt to change quickly
• Exercise strict confidentiality of company information
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in written form
• Knowledge of Mechanical / Building Construction Trades is a plus
• Must have valid drivers’ license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
