Ensures all mechanical engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established policies and objectives. Being a Mechanical Engineering Manager oversees the design of products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc. May oversee fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Additionally, Mechanical Engineering Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department.
