Mechanical Engineering Manager jobs in Schenectady, NY

**Essential Responsibilities:

As the Mechanical Engineering Technician, you will:

• Help develop shop tooling and procedures
• Work on developing build books
• Work with engineering to improve the overall shop process
• Give hourly EE’s technical guidance

**Qualification:

• Associates Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED plus a minimum of 3 years working in a manufacturing environment)

**Desired Characteristics:

• Project Management Skills - ability to handle multiple complex situations daily
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Proven Leadership ability
• Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, initiative, and creativity
• Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing, & organizational integration skills
• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering or Business
• Green Belt or Black Belt Certification or equivalent Quality certification
