Mechanical Engineering Supervisor jobs in Galveston, TX
Mechanical Engineering Supervisor oversees the designing of engines, tools, and other mechanical equipment and industrial processes. Also responsible for supervising the production, operation, repair and maintenance of equipment. Being a Mechanical Engineering Supervisor may work with other engineering departments to aid in the development and usage of robotics to improve productivity. A level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Additionally, Mechanical Engineering Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Job Description
- Assemble, install and repair pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems
- Work sites include commercial buildings from start to finish as well as existing structures where we go in and make repairs or improvements
- Enjoys a fast paced environment and is able to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and punctual
- Can work with a team throughout the day
- Open to learning and growing while learning your trade
Job Requirements
- Prior experience in HVAC/Mechanical in Commercial capacity
- Experience assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems
- Have a least 2 years of experience in commercial plumbing environment
- Enjoys a fast paced environment and is able to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and punctual
