We are seeking an experienced commercial HVAC/R Startup/Service Technician to add to our Service Department team. This position is very challenging and requires a multitude of skills. The right candidate MUST possess excellent communication skills, be trustworthy, be able to work independently and self-govern, as well as part of a team being led by others. The successful candidate must be a level-headed thinker, using common sense at all times, but also be able to "think outside the box". Our service team uses all available technology to gather whatever information is needed to successfully complete our tasks. Our service team members must be willing to go the extra mile and demonstrate a passion to educate themselves in our constantly changing industry. Job Responsibilities:
Pre-functional checks, documentation and startup, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and installation of HVAC equipment found in commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, and institutional settings. This includes, but is not limited to: -Split DX and chilled water systems -Package Rooftop Equipment both constant and variable air volume -Air handlers both hydronic and direct expansion -Variable Frequency Drives -Hydronic systems that include Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, etc… -Steam systems and associated equipment and controls -Pneumatic, Electric, and DDC control systems -Humidification, Dehumidification, Make up air equipment
