Media Buyer is responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Coordinates the development and execution of media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, tactics, message, and objectives. Being a Media Buyer uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Negotiates media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Additionally, Media Buyer collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to execute plans and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for campaigns. Conducts research on new media strategies, platforms, and channels to utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. The Media Buyer work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Job Responsibilities:- Determining material requirements between manufacturing sites using the MRP system.
- Generating internal sales orders, move orders between sites
- Coordinating with Procurement, Stock room, and logistics department on transfer of material between sites.
- Creation and modifications of PO at the discretion of Senior level Buyers
- Provides support to Project Northeast teams as needed

Requirements:- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and material management systems
- College degree and or 5 years of experience in purchasing/buyer role
- Working knowledge of Oracle ERP and MRP preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of BOMs, routings, and or recipes, and work centers
Notes:- Shift hours: 8-5
- Worksite: Danbury - building 37
- Worker work remotely: possibly, 1 or 2 days per week WFH
- Extension past the initial duration: yes.
- Is there a possibility the worker could be transitioned to a full-time employee: yes, highly dependent on performance and ability to eventually relocate to the Newark office.
