    Overview

    Our Lady of Light is looking for an experienced, driven, and creative Media and Development Coordinator to join our parish. The Media and Development Coordinator provides marketing, social media, and development support to ensure successful attainment of outcome related to online presence, fundraising events, and other development activities.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement ongoing social media calendar in collaboration with departments and parish ministries.
    • Develop and implement social media campaigns, including developing messaging and content, creating distribution strategies, and analyzing results for all social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
    • Oversees and facilitates live streaming of weekly masses or when applicable.
    • Oversees volunteer capture database Volgistics and assists with operation of Liturgical Ministry scheduling software Ministry Scheduler Pro.
    • Serve as a content creator and editor – reviews content creator's work for error prior to publishing.
    • Design and create weekly bulletin, parish wide emails, and other assigned communications.
    • Design and prepare various event related marketing materials, to include brochures and flyers.
    • Oversee, maintain, and enhance parish website.
    • Content writing for website and social media.
    • Use media tools and equipment to provide enhanced services to baptisms, weddings, funerals, and parish ministries.
    • Perform administrative duties as directed to ensure efficient operations of the office.
    • Other duties as assigned by Business Manager.

    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in communications, media, or related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and computer technology.
    • Display a high level of confidentiality.
    • Able to work collaboratively, in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must pass Level II background screening.
    • Valid Florida State driver's license.
