Job Description for Social Media & Marketing Coordinator

(Full-time, salary position)

Job Duties:

• Responsible for managing Back East’s social media accounts, including developing creative content and responding to customer inquiries and interactions.
• Responsible for developing and executing marketing and social media strategies to increase our online presence and grow the brand.
• Responsible for assisting with developing content, including labels, POS materials, flyers, and in-house marketing materials for our tap room, kitchen, and our distributor partners.
• Developing email marketing campaigns, keeping our website up to date, and keeping beer listings and menus accurate and up to date.
• Adhering to schedules for social media publishing and tap room events and happenings.
• Working closely with management, tap room, kitchen, sales, and production teams to maximize our online presence.
• Be in a continuous state of learning about new trends, platforms, and effective and creative digital content.
• The job will be primarily at the brewery, with limited travel. Monday-Friday workday with some evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications:

• Photography and videography experience required.
• Strong graphic design experience and creative abilities, including experience with: Adobe Suite, Photoshop, Canva, Wix, etc.
• An ability to manage deadlines, schedules, and complete projects on time.
• College degree in marketing or related fields preferred.
• 2 years of professional marketing and/or social media experience required (brewery experience a plus).
• Must be 21 years of age or older, have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation
• Ability and willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule when required.
• Ability to work well in a dynamic environment and be a team player.
• Your key strengths are: organized, self-motivated, focused, creative, personable, outgoing, receptive to feedback, able to meet deadlines, and attentive to detail.
• A passion for good beer and an outgoing personality.
