If you’re looking for part-time editorial work and have creative flair, consider becoming editorial coordinator of Pinecrest magazine. Pinecrest will be the latest in a portfolio of local magazines from Wainscot Media, a well-established publisher of regional, custom and B2B magazines.
This feel-good monthly title will be by, for and about the residents of Pinecrest. As editorial coordinator, you’ll work with the local publisher to craft the content lineup for each issue. You’ll solicit contributions, assign articles (or if you prefer, write them yourself), commission photography, shape the raw content, and work with our staff designer to create a polished final product.
The typical monthly editorial package is 22 pages, including cover, table of contents and masthead, and so forth.
The budget is $1,400 per month for text. You can pay freelance writers out of that budget or write everything yourself. We suggest you barter photography services for advertising in the magazine. In addition, you may spend up to $200 per month on photography.
