Valnet is looking for an experienced Social Media Coordinator to help grow its social presence and authority on its Consumer Tech brands (Android Police, XDA & Pocket-lint)!

The role will require the understanding of the latest social media best practices and tools, including Twitter (X), Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. The right candidate has a love of technology and understands how tech weaves itself into popular culture today. They love social media and understand how it works as a means not just of content creation but distribution.

They love video, obviously, but also loves a good meme, and can figure out how to use both to further the brand’s goals. They know that a great social media post can bring traffic to the website but may also just put a shine on the brand.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the publishing of articles and bespoke content across the Consumer Tech brands
• Work with the editorial staff to plan custom daily and long-term content across the Consumer Tech brands
• Create custom social copy and images for each brand, working with house style and tone, for Facebook and Twitter (X)
• Build our social presence on Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, working with our video producers to create custom content
• Seek out unique and interesting stories, both from our websites and the wider internet, to repost and remix for our brands
