SALARY: Salaried/Exempt $60K - $75K commensurate with experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Warehouse Manager will serve in a leadership role for their team and the business. They are responsible for oversight and direction regarding warehouse procedures, safety, and training, and updating warehouse equipment and processes.

- Manage daily warehouse activities by allocating resources, managing priorities, and directing warehouse team.
- Work with production team to ensure on time delivery of all outbound customer orders.
- Develop and manage warehouse and shipping budgets including labor, shipping costs, and other expenses.
- Keep the warehouse running efficiently, within budgetary expectations and in alignment with the strategic plan of the company.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance.
- Organize/maintain inventory and storage areas.
- Ensure shipments & inventory transactions’ accuracy.
- Manage relationships with logistics partners and other necessary vendors.
- Communicate job expectations, coach employees, determine staffing levels and assign workload.
- Interface with internal and external customers to answer questions or solve problems.
- Maintain items records, document necessary information, and utilize reports.
- Identify areas of improvement and adjust existing work procedures and practices as necessary to improve safety, workflow, and/or efficiency.
- Confer and coordinate activities with other departments, assisting with related special projects as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration OR an associate degree, with a minimum of 5 years of successful management experience
- Experience in a manual warehouse environment and process development preferred
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
- Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Ability to direct and recommend cost-effective, creative solutions
- Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
- Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict
- Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
- In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for warehouse, inventory control, logistics and supply chain management, including experience with budgeting
- Collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information
Systems Experience and qualifications
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook
- Advanced use and understanding of Microsoft Excel required
- NetSuite Experience preferred
- Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
- Physical strength, stamina, and the ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time.
- Sit or stand for prolonged periods.
- Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Use computers and phones efficiently.
- Lift and/or move up to 55 lbs. without assistance.
- Pull and maneuver a cart or pallet jack with full pallets of product.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work flexible hours as the business demands, including weekends and extended shifts during peak season.
- Onsite work is performed in an office with considerable time on the production floor and in the warehouse.
- Working remotely is possible outside of peak season; remote work should be done in an office like setting with company provided equipment.
- A percentage of work time is spent in a warehouse where temperatures can range from being very cool to being extremely hot and noise level can be moderate to high.
- Forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse tools are used throughout the day.
