The Operations Manager is responsible for daily production related operations of employment programs. Responsible for job assignment, scheduling and quality control. Responsible for individual-centered vocational programming in the employment settings of the Vocational Program. Supervises assigned Production Managers, Production Supervisors and Truck Drivers.
Additional responsibilities include: supervise and assess the job performance of all staff on an on-going basis, conduct or coordinate training for all staff in accordance with program needs, assist in annual budget preparation, maintain accurate and complete production, quality control, billing and shipping records daily, Ensure maximum productivity is obtained through the use of special tools, jigs and fixtures. Assist and or participate in sales and procurement and production efforts as assigned by the Vice President of IDD Services. Communicate with customers regarding specifications, schedules, materials, quality requirements and complaints. Monitor implementation of individual goals, outcomes and evaluate results and take corrective actions when necessary. Develop and implement Vocational program goals and objectives to enhance individuals' employability and viability of operations. Monitor and maintain status of assigned Threshold property, material, supplies, tools and equipment. Initiate preventative maintenance measures and establish property control measures. Ensure the assigned facilities are kept clean, safe and orderly. Participate in the monitoring, reviewing or licensing inspections of programs. Ensure compliance with all related national and state regulations, including DOL wage and hour regulations and OSHA requirements. Monitor inventory and assist with the procurement of supplies, equipment and services needed by the Vocational Program and Employment Programs. Comply with all Threshold confidentiality policy.
