Technical Operations Manager

New Age Media is seeking a full-time salaried Technical Operations Manager to provide IT support for TV stations in Tallahassee, Florida.

This position is perfect for someone:

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Has an IT background with initiative and drive for professional development

· Has excellent communication skills

· Broadcasting a plus

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain full and low-powered UHF/VHF transmitters, microwave transmitters, and receivers
• Log and record information per FCC requirements
• Perform maintenance of audio, video, satellite, and automation equipment and conduct preventive maintenance and repairs for all facilities

To be successful in this position:

· Bachelor's degree and/or four years of experience in Broadcast Engineering or a similar field of technology or experience/education equivalent combinations

· Need a valid Driver's License

· Must use technical equipment and utilize manuals, diagrams, and specifications

· Able to operate machinery and utilize needed tools and equipment

· Be familiar with and operate using best television operation and engineering practices
