Media Planner is responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Coordinates the development and execution of media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, tactics, message, and objectives. Being a Media Planner uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Negotiates media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Additionally, Media Planner collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to execute plans and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for campaigns. Conducts research on new media strategies, platforms, and channels to utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. The Media Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Planner is responsible for obtaining forecasted demand and translating it into a material procurement and production plan that aligns with the master production schedule to deliver product on time per delivery requirements.
ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE
The Planner reports directly to the Associate Director of Supply Chain.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities of this role include the following:
d. Maintain supplier master data.
e. Execute Open Order Report and follow-up with purchasing as needed to ensure on time deliveries.
QUALIFICATIONS
GMP DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY
This role will offer a base salary that is commensurate with experience and demonstrated skills in the $63,000 - $68,0000 range.
