Media Planner is responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Coordinates the development and execution of media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, tactics, message, and objectives. Being a Media Planner uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Negotiates media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Additionally, Media Planner collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to execute plans and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for campaigns. Conducts research on new media strategies, platforms, and channels to utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. The Media Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Responsibilities for Social Manager

    • Manage a small but growing team of social strategists 
    • Lead social media strategy for all types of clients in Ecom, B2B, & tech/app industries
    • Utilize ever-changing social best practices and familiarity with the organization's mission to inspire strategies and content creation
    • Support social strategists on client calls to report on monthly results and coordinate future calendars & strategy
    • Lead account management and social strategy for some of the largest social accounts we work with
    • Improve social processes to keep our team’s time efficient while driving the best results for our clients
    • Monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement
    • Train the team on changing social platforms and best practices
    • Meet with all strategists on a regular basis to train, support, & manage success of their specific focuses & clientele
    • Step in to help with execution of deliverables and client communication when strategists are overloaded or out of office


    Qualifications for Social Manager

    • Proven record of social media management (3 years of social media marketing experience, with 1 year of management experience)
    • Experience with social media account management, ideally in an agency setting
    • Proficiency with all social platforms including TikTok, IG, FB, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Discord, Telegram, Reddit, etc.
    • Experience with social media tools such as FB Business Manager, Creator Studio, Social reporting tools, Publishing tools, etc.
    • Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
    • Ability to manage your own accounts while also supporting a team of strategists
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management.
    • Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously.
    • Strict adherence to the style guides & tone of each company and their policies for revision, approval, & publishing content.
    • Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
    • Familiarity with each client's requirements and the company's brand image, products, and services
