Media Production Director oversees and plans the pre-production, production, and post-production stages of television or web shows, broadcasts, or videos. Completes pre-production processes, including ideation, concept creation, casting, script writing, budgeting, specifications, and scheduling. Being a Media Production Director defines and organizes the technical and logistical resources required for each production. Assembles the required team of production specialists for each production's camera, sound, lighting, and other functions. Additionally, Media Production Director directs post-production editing operations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Media Production Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. OVERVIEW
We are seeking a talented and creative leader to join our team. You will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs that effectively communicate brand message and lead/mentor the creative team. You will collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging graphics for various platforms and projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create visually appealing designs for print and digital media, including brochures, flyers, social media graphics
-Experienced in website design, photography and 2D animation is a plus
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute creative concepts
- Ensure brand consistency across all design projects
- Incorporate color theory and visual design principles into your work
- Collaborate with photographers to select and edit images for use in designs
- Assist with logo design and branding initiatives
EXPERIENCE
- Four year degree from an accredited college or university is required
-Proven experience as a Graphic Designer in a professional/ advertising agency setting for 3 years minimum
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, layout, and color theory
- Knowledge of typesetting techniques and best practices
- Familiarity with web design software such as Squarespace, Wix, Wordpress, etc. is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Artistic ability and creativity to develop unique and innovative design concepts
- Understanding of market trends and consumer preferences (UX/UI)
- Knowledge of Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro is a plus
