Media Production Director oversees and plans the pre-production, production, and post-production stages of television or web shows, broadcasts, or videos. Completes pre-production processes, including ideation, concept creation, casting, script writing, budgeting, specifications, and scheduling. Being a Media Production Director defines and organizes the technical and logistical resources required for each production. Assembles the required team of production specialists for each production's camera, sound, lighting, and other functions. Additionally, Media Production Director directs post-production editing operations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Media Production Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Media Production Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     The Designer/Production Artist will possess a strong design portfolio and can quickly and efficiently translate a creative brief into a creative product that adheres to marketing strategies, brand standards, and business goals. To excel in this role, you must be flexible and can design across a wide variety of projects, clients and industries. Above all, this role requires a passion for solving real problems for real people through research, design, and iteration.

    Production is the final checkpoint in our creative design process, reviewing final copy, layouts and content in print or digital form. They ensure brand standards across color, font, production quality and more. Print and graphic production artists scale and crop, retouch, change, and adapt the layout multiple sizes. They put the finishing touches on the art that really matters in the business world, establishing and maintaining the brands the work on.  

    We are looking for a candidate that is a creative computer savvy graphic expert, meticulous and goal oriented with a keen eye for the smallest details. We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, inter-departmental collaborator, and a skilled listener. The creative team is under constant deadlines, as a result,  we are looking for a candidate that can to manage tasks under stress…and have some fun along the way.

    Outcomes

    Responsibilities

    • Understands how to translate creative briefs into targeted and effective creative output within the time allotted by the Product Operations Team
    • Designs and creates content for seasonal campaigns including email, video, landing pages, social media, digital advertising, and more...
    • Maintains consistency in digital marketing while following brand guidelines
    • Work closely with, communicate and present creative with all key stakeholders and counterparts
    • Seek ways to enhance e-commerce experience (focusing on mobile and responsive design first)
    • Provide design support to other creative team members to create product graphics, logos, identity design, or other similar offline graphics
    • Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite, and
    • Mastery of basic design principals such as typography, composition, scale, etc.
    • Obsesses over the customer experience and the brand consistency
    • Ability to manage multiple deadlines on various projects at a time
    • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
    • Bachelor’s degree in communication design, digital design, digital advertising, or comparable degree program, or commensurate experience
    • Software Proficiency: Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
    •  Experience with Creatopy is a plus.
