Media Production Manager manages the planning and execution of the pre-production, production, and post-production stages of television or web broadcasts, shows or videos. Ensures pre-production processes, including ideation, concept creation, casting, script writing, budgeting, specifications, and scheduling are completed. Being a Media Production Manager engages and organizes the technical and logistical resources required for each production. Coordinates the team of production technical specialists for camera, sound, and lighting for each production. Additionally, Media Production Manager facilitates post-production editing operations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Media Production Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Media Production Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Digital Media Production Assistant
***This position requires an active Secret clearance.***
The individual will lead the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs' digital content production efforts. The individual would oversee the development of visual and audio materials critical to advancing Bureau public diplomacy initiatives. This individual would also assist in the evaluation and assessment of digital public diplomacy content as part of a broader effort to refine and bolster the effectiveness of Bureau strategic communication initiatives. The individual will assist the Bureau to grow its current operations while still maintaining the development of the consistent product expected by Bureau leadership and embassy personnel. This position reports directly to the Regional Digital Media Coordinator who exercises general control over the work of the position by establishing overall objectives for the assignment in coordination with lateral teams and office leadership.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary for Digital Media Program Assistant: $33.26 per hour
