    About the Role

    We are looking for an experienced Media Director who will be responsible for leading and overseeing our media team in planning, tactical execution, implementation, optimization and performance analysis.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Oversee the media planning process, including the identification of target audiences, determination of media mix, and allocation of budgets. Manage and supervise a team in day to day media management while also leading the process of strategic media planning/execution and serving as a resource for the team.

     
    • Lead a team of media planners, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement
    • Develop and implement innovative and effective media strategies to meet and exceed our client's goals
    • Analyze relevant paid media channels and outlets
    • Develop budgets and flowcharts
    • Day-to-day management of digital and traditional media plans including developing recommendations, execution details and budgets
    • Lead and direct the development of client presentations from a media perspective
    • Research and implement new techniques and technologies that are relevant to clients’ media strategies
    • Draw insight from campaign results
    • Ensure dialogue with client and internal team on informed strategic implications
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide executive reporting on media spend performance
    • Maintain current knowledge of paid media, marketing and industry best practices


    Education
    • Bachelor's degree required from four-year college or university, degree or concentration in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
     
    Qualifications
    • 5 Years of agency experience or related area required
    • At least 2-3 years of responsible management of a cohort of teams.
    • Exceptional time management skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Strong managerial and diplomacy skills
    • Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in business and finance
    • Excellent research and analytical skills
    • Experience in STRATA, Eleven, Microsoft Office suite and Google suite
    • Experience in working with diverse populations and possess cultural curiosity and a desire to learn and understand more about people whose backgrounds and perspectives are different from their own
    Bonus Qualifications
    • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
    • Flexibility with travel as needed

    Physical Requirements
    • Able to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative requirements
    • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with legal requirements
    • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
