Multi-Media Program Analyst

  • Job Summary/Purpose: :
    The Gemini 3 Group is seeking a Multi-Media Program Analyst: to the Sustainment Center of Excellence and the Ordnance School at Ft. Gregg-Adams, VA. This position requires management of social media platforms, desktop publishing, and graphic design as well as working with Microsoft SharePoint to include the ability to update site information and workflows.
    Essential Responsibilities/Functions::
    • Social Media Management:
      • Develop, disseminate, and maintain communications via web-based applications including Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn Pages/Forums, YouTube and Vimeo, and other social media applications.
      • Monitor and incorporate communications/media from Army and other relevant sources into Social Media posts.
      • Submit trouble tickets related to the public website to G-6 Webmaster. This includes but is not limited to picture album, text on pages, adding, updating, or removing information, and ensuring website functionality.
      • Monitor calendars and attend local community events including conferences, staff rides, local media days, and other public strategic engagements as needed to provide photo and/or video support.
    • Special Product Communications:
      • Develop, refine, update, and manage communication products including, but not limited to photographs/videos, and digital/print materials such as brochures, pocket folders, posters, and flyers.
      • Assist with editorial services to ensure the quality of finished products conform to the policies and style guides of the Army.
      • Review, edit, and consolidate articles (including photos, tables, and graphics) suitable for publishing or posting.
    • PowerPoint Support:
      • Develop PowerPoint slides (i.e. “story boards”) that summarize results from media campaigns.
      • Create slides to support and communicate business rules and processes.
      • Provide PowerPoint Action Plan slide templates.
      • Compress and edit pictures in PowerPoint including, removing backgrounds, fading pictures, using pictures as textures, grouping objects resizing in portion, changing slide size, adding tables etc.
    • Meeting Support:
      • Issue data calls, schedule meetings, coordinate input to and assemble final products in support of LOE update meetings.
      • Post digital copies and print/bind paper copies of briefings in accordance with Army guidance.
      • Set up (arrange name plates and telephone bridge connection) and provide support for up to four Line of Effort (LOE) update meetings monthly for the Chief of Staff and/or the Chief of Ordnance.
      • Post meeting - provide a summary of ‘due-outs’ to the Chief of Staff for follow-up by close of business the same day.
    • SharePoint:
      • Update Microsoft SharePoint libraries and lists.
      • Maintain SharePoint permissions ensuring users have access to SharePoint pages, lists, libraries, etc.
      • Periodically validate and update graphics and photos throughout OD SharePoint pages and reports.

    Required Experience::
    • Strong written and oral communication and proofreading skills required.
    • Ability to be self-directed and work independently.
    • Basic video editing skills including:
      • Adding or removing audio or sounds
      • Cutting and splicing together videos
      • Making videos out of PowerPoint files with a form of transitioning between segments
    • Ability to use Photoshop for image editing, retouching, creating image compositions, and adding effects preferred.
    • Familiarity with copyright laws a plus.

    Required Education, Licenses and Certifications::
    • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Business, or related discipline.

    Security Clearance Requirements::
    • Active Secret Clearance (preferred) – or ability to obtain Secret clearance required.
